Phoenix Coyotes: When the Winnipeg Jets became the Phoenix Coyotes in 1996 Sports Medics Inc. was given the opportunity to set up and manage the emergency medical care for the team. This responsibility would include developing a close working relationship with the Coyotes' medical staff as well as managing all of the emergency medical care, transport, and services that might be needed for both teams and/or officials during each home game. In 2002 Sports Medics, Inc. was asked by the Phoenix Coyotes and Glendale Fire Department to assist in the development of the Phoenix Coyotes/NHL EMS program in the new Glendale Hockey Arena in Glendale AZ.
